The thing that holds the trunk rubber is called a channel.  It's the same
for all 57-58 Plymouths.  It was originally spot welded into the trunk
area.  If you have a few hours to kill, find a good one in a parts car in a
junkyard and use a spot weld remover (Eastwood sells one) attached to a
cordless drill to remove the three dozen or so spotwelds that hold the
channel in place.  Lotsa fun.
