I've noticed this different-windshield situation with hardtops and sedans up
 through
all the years of my Mopars. So, just what is the main difference? Is it
 geometric,
or structural (thicker glass for the hardtops, maybe), or what exactly?

And where are the salient numbers marked/printed on windshields? I have one that
 came
from a junkyard that's supposed to be for a hardtop. I really want to be certain
 that it's correct
before I yank the one out of the car that needs it.

| I believe the '57 2dr hardtop and 4dr hardtop windshield are interchangeable.
| The 2 dr post  and 4 dr post and convert are not.
