hi all, first i'd like to thank everyone for all
the info i recieved. well i went through the distributor and replaced the
points, condenser, rotor and cap, i found the ground wire loose inside the
dist. it also looked like the wire that goes to the points was rubbing
against the housing, i siliconed it and made sure it didnt touch. i also
rebuilt the carb and the generator right away. well i took a few short trips
(8 miles round trip) and no problem, friday night i decided to take it to the
moto cross races ( 60 miles round trip) no problem again. monday i went to
the local drivein ( 50 miles round trip) great. so far so good. i hope
everythings fine now, but i suppose i'll have to wait a month or so to see
