Re: [FWDLK] Natural Disaster

To answer a few questions- I live in Jackson,MI and unfortunately I was out of film, actually I was awfully worried about the car and didn't think about taking any pictures until it was already cut away.  By then there wasnt much call to go to Meijers for film.  Thanks for all the support you guy's( and gal's)

I writing hopes that sharing my pain may help me----
Last saturday, here in southern MI., there was one hell of a thunderstorm.  Power was out in some places for three days.  Well- basically- i used to have a big maple tree in my backyard........ and I used to have a 56 Windsor without a tree on it!!!!!!!  (sob, sob)   Last night I managed to borrow a chainsaw and went to cutting (the tree!).  After 5 hrs of cutting I found that almost all of the weight of the tree was supported by a large limb and not the car.  After some creative trimming I manage to free the car without the tree crashing the rest of the way down....I had managed to pull the S.S. Chrysler from the jaws of doom!!!  My baby is OK ( except for a few repairable battle scars) and will live to cruise another day!!!  Time to finance a garage!!!!

Thanks for your time
John (56Winsor w/392)
