Hi Tom,
My thoughts:
1. air shocks painted black are not as obvious or ugly, but they
ride rough when pumped up.
2. new springs are available from Eaton Spring
www.eatonspring.com ) which are EXACT spec to original and will
put your car back to proper height plus will carry more weight
than old and abused springs.
3. have Eaton make you a set of springs that are equivalent to
factory heavy duty for taxi or police use. THIS is the ultimate
fix.
