Re: [FWDLK] eBay and Frank Mitchell

Phil's message inspired me to comment:

I took the plunge and won one of Frank's items on ebay in early September,
some Forward Look oil filters. I have never dealt with him before, and
decided these items were cool enough to take the risk everyone on this list
warns against. I felt it was a good $20 risk.

Anyway, when I saw that fmmpar had been banned from ebay, I naturally
wondered if I was going to get my items, so I emailed Frank and asked him
the status of my stuff, since I paid by check and most sellers wait for the
check to clear I wasn't entirely surprised I hadn't yet recieved my stuff.

I also checked with my bank to see if the check had cleared (I considered
stopping payment if it had not cleared), and it had. Frank emailed me back
very quickly that my stuff is on the way.

I have not received my stuff yet, and am still a little worried, with his
track record and all, but so far Frank himself has not said or done anything
to piss me off. I'll let the list know when my parts come, if anyone cares.
