Dear David,

        I don't mean to sound sarcastic here, but maybe you've just had dumb
luck, or maybe your vehicle has had the rubber connectors replaced with
the newer generation of rubber fuel line, which is supposed to be
impervious to MTBE degradation. I suggest you go to
http://www.covacvag.org, in order to learn more about what to expect
from, and look for, in a vehicle having been exposed to MTBE laced gas.
