Re: [FWDLK] "Finless Cousins"

My 58 Saratoga has no parts that interchange with a 51 Frazer, yet it has plenty
of parts that will interchange with my 63. The windshield , axles and many other
parts are similar or the same. These cars really have no place to go, what if we
turn down some fellow with a nice 64 Newport, but because he is offended by an
exclusionist attitude, he may just happen to forget to tell us about the 57 Fury
parts car his uncle has out behind the barn as well. Are our numbers so large
that we have to be worried about owners of these cars swamping us? I doubt it, I
bet you will find the owners of these vehicles already own a Forward Look car or
two also, I know I do. A 55 Chrysler has no fins, just a tailight perched up on
top of the quarter panel, yet no one questions if they belong. The 62-64 big
Mopar cars are the last mechanical and structural cousins of our finned beautys,
nothing after 64 has anything in common except engines. I think we should let
them in, it will give us a chance to grow, and after all, some of us are already
here.
