But the '64 "is" an Exner-designed car, isn't it?  I'm sure it is.  One
of his last.  Engel only arrived at Chrysler in '62.

Engel may have made minor changes to it, and certainly was responsible
for the '65, but the basic ideas for the '63 and '64 are Virgil's.  If
you can get to photographs of the suddenly-cancelled '62s (usually found
as part of any article about the '61 DeSoto),a you'll see that the '63
and '64 are adaptations of what he'd originally planned for the '62
Imperial.
