Re: [FWDLK] Unibody 1960 Models

Eugene,

Four out of Chrysler's five divisions (hence Pentastar) switched to unibody
construction for the 1960 model year. Imperial's D-body remained body and
frame until it was switched over for the 1967 model year. In 1969, Imperial
joined the rest of Chrysler Corporation with fuselage styling. Some view
this as the beginning of Imperial's demise.

Hey Y'all,
I know that all 1960 Chryslers, Plymouths, Dodges, and DeSotos were unibody.
Was the Imperial unibody? If not what year did it become a unibody car?
TIA,
Eugene Calderaro
