I looked the 61 Imperial Crown Convertable over Saturday. Interesting
enough, as I was getting infomation and taking notes on the car for my
remembering condition and things, that these 4 guys came along. 2 of
them came over and started talking and one said that he seen on the
Forward Look List that a man was going to look at one of these cars on
Saturday. I said I was the man. And it turned out to be Dave Wallace
of our List. We walked around for about 5 hours then went to eat and
left for home. I see why this list is great. Dave knows the Mopars and
others inside and out. A real enjoyable time with him and the others.
A real great time there and really nice to meet a Forward Look fellow
over the top of a 61 Imperial Convertable. The car is basicly a basket
case. It is all there except for the trunk lid, radiator, generator,
carb, drivers door interior panel. It may be only salvagable for parts.
It is setting on the ground sunk in some with only 1 wheel on her.
