Now I'm really confused. My '55 DeSoto has the gas filler, another tube about 1/2"-5/8" that runs down to the tank, and a third tube, very little, about 3/16" OD, made of a soft pliable metal, that runs from the filler neck down under the middle of the trunk floor panand is just open at the end.
