I don't know if you are just interested in NAPA brand but I got a set from Andy Bernbaum for my '55 Ply back in '92 and they are still going strong--I understand these are made in Brazil and the part numbers are R-204 (front) and R-224 (rear)-
The same catalog where I got these from shows the part nos for '55 DeSoto:  R-205 front and R-225 rear. There is no difference for 6 or 8cyl. Address:
