two-lane blacktop was released in 71 or 72, it has been available on video
tape for a long time now.... [mid 80's] but hard to find. i have a copy.  it
is just recently that it was re-mastered and produced for sale as a ''cult
classic''.  its really a budget film- with no plot, no theme, just racing
here and there....  the car is a 55 chevy, tunnel ram 454.  co star car is a
70 judge.  he races + beats a cuda in the opening scene.
it also lacks an ending....
neat movie though,  recommend buying it just for the cars.
