I just want to say thanks to all of you on this list. Since my wife
signed up, I have learned soooo much from you all about everything. I am
not much for talking and hanging out. A bit of a loner and always have
been. Just seem compelled to say I appreciate all of you and your
knowledge.
I have been a car freak all my life, but until recently could not
afford to play. Its just a really good thing I have only one garage and
live in the Pacific Northwest. Know the feeling. We have a 57 Dodge
Coronet that we inherited. Its original, and I love driving it around.
My wife, Clare, posted the pics a while back. I plan to expand to
another car really soon. I have been drouling over the sites on line,
and will go to a couple places locally to check them out. Cant say I am
a total MOPAR person. I like them all for now. The Dodge is really cool.
The prices of the cars are odd, but am starting to understand the whys,
etc. Fully restored, frame off, means mucho denero for sure!! I tend to
like the original types myself, plus much cheaper. You people in the
mid-west and south seem to have a better deal money wise. I know here
where I live the cars are high. I live an hour north of Seattle, in a
small town called Stanwood. See some cool rides around here also.
A bit about myself. I will turn 50 in Feb. I am a retired military
type person. My wife is mid-way thru her Navy career. I am a house
daddy. Take care of a 3 thou square foot house, 4 kids, and a mother in
law that is crazy as hell. I do it all. Even start my wifes car in the
am. She is spoiled for sure. I wouldn't trade my job for anything thou.
A real challenge. Now I have started playing with the car and soon cars!
I have owned a 65 Chevelle and a 57 Chevy way back when. I like the way
all sign off with the lists of autos. Some of you out there are busy and
must have some big garages for sure. Well, guess I will send this out. I
am in a mood today. I could talk forever it seems. Mainly just wanted to
say thanks and hello out there to all.
