Just finished watching a 1955 RKO movie, "Slightly Scarlet,", starring John
Payne, Rhonda Fleming, Arlene Dahl, and a host of MoPars.
There are lots of good shots of Rhonda Fleming driving her '55 Plymouth
convertible, peach with black Sport Tone, John Payne drives a '41 Plymouth
coupe til he moves up in the mob and gets a blue '55 New Yorker convertible
with white sweep, the bad guys drive a blue Imperial sedan with white top,
police black & whites are '55 Plymouths [also '54 Nash], etc. Didn't see
any DeSotos though.
The movie isn't much, must have been one of RKO's last flix, but the cars
are great.
