Harry,

HONEYCOMB?  In the late 1950's?  I don't think so!  The true honeycomb
radiator went out during the 1940's.   The stuff your radiator and heater
core was made out of is still available.  Any radiator shop should be
able to remove the core from the heater core and replace same with
new material.  If not, find a shop that knows what they are doing.

Just don't describe it as "honeycomb" when you talk to them.
