Dan - to the best of my knowledge, ALL small-blocks have the same
bellhousing bolt pattern.  However - you cannot use a 65 block in a 61 car -
all blocks 61 & down are different in the crankshaft-torque converter
mounting setup.  Are you sure the 65 block is a 318?
