Re: [FWDLK] Transport

The discussion goes on...I bought a car in East Texas and I have to get it to
New Jersey. The car is not running, I believe, and is a convert without a
cloth top, of course. I haven't contacted anyone as of yet. I'm going to
look at the car in the middle of June. I will take all sugesstions, as long
as I don't have to put them where the sun don't shine (just kidding) and try
to figure out how to get it here (in one piece). There will also be boxes of
parts coming along with the car. Has anyone used transport in recent months?
It is about 1400 to 1500 miles. I guess I could have the car shrink wrapped
or it could go in an enclosed carrier. I'm sure enclosed is more money?
Last time I did this, it cost me $300 from Ft. Lauderdale Fl. to N.J. (just 5
years ago). I'm told I got a bargain. It was an open carrier that had a
drop off point. I picked the car up at the drop off.

Sorry to be so long winded. I'm open to any and all suggestions.
