Interesting that this question should come up on a
MoPar list, Bob. The Forward Look stuff used ATF in
the power steering units, as do MoPars after about
'88, but Chrysler did specify a unique power steering
fluid from '62 into somewhere in the '80s.
This can be found in many parts stores labeled
"Chrysler Dodge Plymouth Power Steering Fluid", often
in a clear plastic bottle which shows it to be gold in
color, unlike most ATFs.
I suspect this might actually be 10W motor oil, as I
understand was used in the old Fluid Drive units. If
I'm wrong about that last part I know someone will
correct me. (I am leaving Hy-Drive out of that
statement, I know about Hy-Drive sharing crankcase oil.)
