[FWDLK] Great Race

Hi to all,
   The Great Race will be comming thru Olean, NY this comming Tuesday at
5:30 PM and this is an over niter for them.  If any one has not been at
the Great Race event in past years, take it in if it passes anywhere
near you.  The web site is  <WWW.Greatrace.com> and gives the itenery of
the race and all about it.  The Chamber of Commerce is hosting it at
Olean.  The race came thru 2 years ago and I had the opportunity to see
it then.  They shut off main street and have a bunch of old cars from
the area lined up parked diagnal on the main drag. I have my 55 Plymouth
all washed up for the event and am eager to go.   When the race cars
start to arrive, they enter main street and are timed when they go thru
the finish line for the day.  It is truely exciting to see these OLD
machines running this type of endurance race.  On the web site, is a
list of the cars and drivers.  There is no Forward Look cars racing as
most are no newer than I think the late 40's.
Just a neat thing to observe!!!!
