hi all- i was driving the belvedere yesterday and while taking off from a
stop sign i heard and felt a loud '"bang" from the trans area and now she
wont move in any drive or reverse position. since the trans needs to be done
anyway i called CalTex and found out a master rebuild kit is 185.00 not
including $55-$65 for each band. i did not drop the pan yet, so i dont know
what kind of ugliness ill find in there. just wanted to run the situation by
you all so that i could get some feedback on prices, tips, warnings, do's,
dont's, and any other pertinent info anyone out there thinks i need. thank
