The hoods themselves are the same AFAIK but the
emblems are different. '55 has the onepiece nameplate
(flat for 6, "V" for V8) while '56 has "P L Y M O U T
H" spread out across the hood in individual block
letters.

I can't remember if the two have different hood
ornaments and if they are different I have no idea
whether or not they use the same holes.
