I do believe that I would try the dwell of the points. If the ignition points don't close firmly for a suitable time for the coil to charge, the spark is really weak. Perhaps the fiber rub block on the points has become dry and worn down. That may account for the gradual onset of symptoms. Let us know what you find out... Joe Savard Lake Orion, MI |
