It was almost a Christmas wish
come true. . . regualar gas at $1.13 a gallon, 92 octane at $1.33, cruising on a
crisp, cold 25 degree Friday night on a special trip to fill 'er up.
Listening to the late nite talk shows on AM radio. Windshield fogging
over, side windows fogging over, even the dash cluster fogging
over, better crack open the vent wings. . .haven't driven a car like this in
these conditions since college. Brings back some memories. But this
car runs better than the "old clunkers" I drove back then. . .nowadays "old
cars" and "winter driving" aren't often put together in the same sentence.
But it was great fun. . .I even think Mr. Finzzz enjoyed it!
