Thanks for the tip David. To my disadvantage is also that both the cars involved have the same insurance company. However, I have a special type of insurance for classic cars for members of the American Car Club of Noway. Only bodyshops that have in some way been prequalified will be used, unless I have a particular preferance. When considiring the cost of parts, repair and so on, this is done in cooperartion with the owner and the club. This means that I will not be treated like a "regular Joe". The club's magazine, Amcar, told me today that they will probably do a story om my case because my car has previously been featured in that magazine. In a way this will be an advertisement for this type of insurance. I hope this also will add to both the insurance company and the clubs willingness to treat me fairly. So far I'm optimistic in that respect.
