Yes, when Chrysler lists a pair of numbers for left/right, such as 2584
524-5, the "4" is right and the "5" is left.  However, it was not until the
early 1960's that Chrysler began standardizing parts in pairs as even-right
and odd-left.   It seems by 1964 parts became even-right and odd-left across
the board.

Prior to that, it was pretty much anything goes.   For example, in 1962, the
tailgate half of the tailgate hinge on a Plymouth or Dodge was 2251 302
right and 2251 300 left.   A quarter window lift mechanism for a 1962
Imperial is listed as 1604 889 right and 1604 890 left.

was allways right and second was left.
