Have you ever seen a '59 DeSoto Diplomat Custom 2dr HT ?

Only in a picture above. Obviously all '59 Diplomats were 4-dr. sedans in FINland.. But I don't even remember just '59s anywhere outside pictures.. I have seen '55, '57, '58, '60 and '61 Diplomats in real live.

but it seems that DeSoto Diplomat are more uncommon.

I placed some Diplomat pictures on my web site. I just started to build a whole site 2-3 weeks ago using primarily only Notepad and writing html code.. They are under construction and very simple..

When clicking a picture, it will popup to a new window. If you use a Pop-up
Stopper or
other such programs, remember push Shift or Ctrl button when clicking one.

There was a very special model, the '59 DeSoto (Diplomat) Adventurer
which was a Plymouth Sport Fury (2dr HT or conv, with false spare
tire trunk ornament but with a Desoto front end..). Never seen
one except advertising..

I think list member Daniel Andersson owned one in Sweden. It was originally 2-dr. Ht , but someone had cut out it to a self-made convertible..
