[FWDLK] engine trans seperation

I've pulled the 318 engine and TF trans  as a unit out of my 60 donor car,
because I can't turn the engine to get at the rest of the torque converter
nuts. Is there another way to seperate the engine from the trans?  I pulled
the oil pan, and the 36 years of sitting makes me think that I am not going
to spin this motor without a complete teardown.
