I will put in my 2cents worth. When I bought my Dodge diesel pickup I was
warned by both Mopar and Cummins Never use 10-40 oil in the engine as it
will break down and void the warranty. 10-30, 15-45, or any single vicosity
would be fine (approved temp range of course).
Oil is the cheapest part of owning any vehicle so buy good oil of what
ever brand you like as long as it has the "seal.
