Again, I haven't seen this flic, but if it weren't a BIG buk
producktion, the easiest thin to do would be to go to Buy -A- Beater.com
, strip/paint it with KMart's-finest, & then blow it up. Usually, film
crews have several back-up cars on hand, for close-up or "speed" shots,
etc.

Isn't it 'settled' that the film crew , for "Chritine" , had to use
their "beauty/close-up"  car in the final "crunch" scene, because the
back-up car had slid off/out/under (whatever) the bulldozer,
most-un-photogenically?
