Some questions surfaced awhile back regarding rear end swaps. There is a
very comprehensive website at:

which gives an exhaustive listing of what was made when, interchangability,
dimensions, part numbers, etc. I found it very useful myself with my swap of
a '69 Polara rear into my '60. If you want more info on 8 3/4 rear ends,
look there.
