Hello everybody
finally brought my derelict 58 Fury to my place,
and found out that car is much worse than looked at first glance. Inner and
outer rockers have rust holes, and there is some rust through on roof and
on the panel between the rear glass and the trunk lid. The hood, front fenders
and trunk lid are also beyond saving.
Anyone who reproduces inner and outer rockers and
the panel between the door and the wheel opening?
Am also trying to find
the engine numbers on the 318. Found the casting number, on the pass
side of the block, and is 1373929, but can't find the engine number. There is a
pad on the block just above the casting number, on the pass side front of engine
just above the water pump (like in chevy engines) but it's blank. I also checked
another 318 from a 58 Belvedere, and found same pad to be blank, too. Looked all
over the engine, but couln't find any number.
Any suggestion?
