Re: [FWDLK] "Whether ('to-buy)" Report:

I have pictures of this car and have posted them on my web site at the link
below if anyone's interested. I took these pictures last April at the
Spring Fling car show in Southern California. The price (as you can see on
the for sale sign in the pics) started at $9000. and by the end of the
weekend, ended up at $5000. but still didn't sell. The car looks fairly
complete but it's in pretty rough shape for the price. It has a fairly
heavy patina all over and lots of pitting everywhere. It looks as if it's
spent many years outside in a somewhat moist environment and who knows what
lurks beneath the surface. It's not running (I'm not even sure everything's
there to get it running) and it's wearing the wrong wheels with no sign of
hub caps. This car needs absolutely everything (engine, trans and
suspension rebuild, full interior [seat fabric, door panels, headliner,
carpets, all rubber and pot metal, etc.], all exterior die cast and pot
metal, plus lots of re-chroming, repairing and stainless polishing, plus
paint and body work. Probably dash and electrical work as well. Definitely
an expensive resto. Neat car but not for the faint of heart.
