hi everyone, just thought i'd let you know i bought this car
last fall from a junkyard (French Lake, MN) there was no motor or tranny in
it. it's a 9 passenger sierra with power windows etc., yesterday i went back
to the yard and i saw a motor and tranny setting on a pallet on top of an old
hearse, it had a 4bbl so i thought i'd buy the intake, i checked it out and
it still turned over so i bought the whole motor and tranny, these are the
numbers that were stamped on the block, 1255, VT538-I5208, i'm thinking that
this may be the original motor from the car i bought a year earlier. anyone
have any ideas? thank you for your replies on the caps. stokie
