Generally the VT prefix is for a dodge heavy duty truck. Unfortunately most
of the engine id listings that are available do not include much for
trucks. I doubt you will ever positively identify what it came from. I have
a 354 hemi with a VT prefix and I have never found a match. Al I was able
to find out is that it was a from a 1 & 1/2 to 2 1/2 to truck. But I
eventually got lucky and found a picture of the exact truck it came out of
in my in laws old photos. It came from a dodge semi that my wife's
grandfather used to own.

                 hello everyone,  i still don't know what this motor is
for.
the stamping is VT-835. it is a poly motor but i don't know the year or
what
it goes in. help.  stokie
