[FWDLK] Dropping Pans

On my 56 SAvoy 6cyl, can the oil pan be taken out with the engine in the car ?

Also, if it can, does the motor need to be lifted up and it so, where did you lift it up from.

 

 

On newer cars usually you can put a jack under the harmonic balance and lift it, but on this car the frame is in the way, so do you need to lift it form above with a cherry picker ?
