Re: [FWDLK] Radiator Hoses Suppliers

Walter,

Gates is the only source I know of. They have a special catalogue just for
older cars like ours. It shows a molded lower radiator and a molded bypass
hose for your car. If they have nothing listed, take your old hoses to a
good auto parts store with a lot of hoses in inventory and find something
with a section that most closely matches your old hose's contour and
diameter. Gates has some molded hoses that are universal in the sense they
are marked to cut off to the correct length for many applications.

Does anyone have a place to recommend for radiator hoses? I checked Gates
and they have most but not all. Two will have to be "universal" types. Is
it still possible to find the molded or is that a lost cause? I had the
radiator redone and thought I should finish it properly and replace all
hoses. It would be nice to have it all "original" but I do not want to get
crazy about it.
