Agree with you about the Ply, but the Dodge underhood insulation is
different due to the support braces underneath, at least when it comes to
the '59.  Been under the hood of waaay too many '59 Dodges in salvage yards,
and they all have this light-colored fiberglass-like insulation between the
braces.  Most of these cars came to their final resting place back in the
mid-60s, as evidenced by the old newspapers and magazines I find in the back
seats.
