Re: [FWDLK] real head turner ???? :-(

Well, I like customs, and a few years back, in the fall 1993 issue of Custom Rodder magazine (which I still have) is a really nice ' 57 Dodge, with a two-and-a-half inch chop on the top, and a Gene Winfield two-tone fade paint job, and it is a beautiful car. And it was also professionally done--by the best customizers in the bussiness. It used a ' 70 Barracuda back window, and other than that, remained faithful to the stock lines (of the roof). I like customs that are subtle. Although "radical" customs can be nice, it is usually a subjective thing--I might love it, you might hate it. The car in question, on ebay, has a little too much chop for my taste, not to mention that the visibility from inside the car is probably not too good. Generally, I preferr a car to look stock, but have less visible improvements that enhance driving, and performance. To each his own--  Zach---
