[FWDLK] Engine Stalling on left turns

Nick,
I didn't have time to make coments on this yesterday.  You say it is an "AFB" carb so this may not apply, but is something to look into.

On the "WCFB" carb, for awhile, we had the same problem. It turned out to be that the cover gaskets weren't sealing correctly, and when the fuel sloshed up to the joint during left turns, fuel was beig sucked into the choke vacuum passage and stalling the engine.  This only happened with a slow-speed turn with the throttle closed.  A faster turn with the throttle open absorbed the extra fuel and was OK.

We fixed the problem by inserting a short tube in the throttle body at the joint that made for a more perfect seal.

Frankly, I forget whether the "AFB" carb had a similar problem, but keep thes situation in mind.  You may have a poor or wrong gasket at that joint.

Good luck and let us all know what you find.
