Group: I have been working thru a trunk full of parts on my project. Been cleaning, polishing, testing, restoring etc. You know the drill. The work bench is cleaned off except for the starter. Since the car came without an engine, I am not sure that it is a starter that was actually on the original motor or that it is correct for a 1958 Plymouth. I intend to use it on a 350 c.i.d. I understand that starters were rebuilt, replaced etc. and am not looking for the original starter but would like to spend my time on a starter that would have been available in the late 50's The starter is an Autolite: part number MDT 6001 Autolite # 1779955 Serial # M100724 Bill McEntee Royal Oak, Michigan (about 10 miles south of the Walter P.
