Re: [FWDLK] Push-Pull

There's no such thing. If you want it to be "push type" instead of pull type, connect the linkage on the opposite side (diametrically) of the throttle axis.

Subject: [FWDLK] Push-Pull

Hi all,
My 58 Plaza has a 318 wideblock of 1964 vintage. I will be switching my two bbl manifold to a 4 bbl one,and have a question about the carb;even the two bbl carb I had is a pull throttle setup.Someone had done an engine transplant before I got the car and never got to the point of hooking up the throttle which is a push type linkage...will I have a tough time finding a carb with this push-to-open throttle setup?
