Hey Dave,
I stumbled across that the other day, it looks like a real good solution to
the problem of updating the powertrain in our cars.  Now the trick is to
find a way to make it work with the original buttons.

After 40 years, pushbutton shifting has returned. MoonEyes, one of the old
hot rod companies, has come out with a modern electronic pushbutton shifter
that will work on almost any automatic transmission. It utilizes an
electronic stepper motor, externally mounted on the trans, to actuate the
shifts. The shift motor is controlled by a little computer. The buttons can
