Re: [FWDLK] Chrysler 1960-62 with manual trans?

In 1961 I owned a white  58 Chrysler Windsor 2 dr htp  with standard shift on the column.. It had a 2:90 to 1 rear and would run close to 90 in second before the valves would float. It beat Chevys at the local drag strip. The transmission was the weak point in that car. I replaced the gears a couple times.. I then traded it in on a red 60 Dodge Dart convertible that also had a standard shift on the column that ran almost as good. That one got traded in on a red 61 300 G with a black interior. This one was automatic . Sorry this is so long. The post took me back memory lane about the cars  I wish I still had.

The stick shift Chryslers that I have seen over the years had a floor shift. This inluded 300s and low line cars as well. Oddest one was a 61 low-line convertible.
