[FWDLK] frame question

It occurs to me in the group of cars those two '61 Plymouth convertibles are
with, there is a '57-8 Dodge 4dr that the kids flipped onto it's roof. It's
been that way so long the top is pressed down flat to the body now.

I just had the idle thought that it might be worth cutting the back half of
the frame out, if not the entire chassis, and saving it - provided it's not
rotted out of course. I thought maybe it would make a good donor or patch
material for one that had rotted around the rear axle kickup, such as the
'58 Chrysler 2dr hardtop I've been trying to find someone ambitious enough
to take on as a project.

Any opinions?

Bill K.
