[FWDLK] plastic seat covers

Hi All--
   OK, it took me 5 days to find the receipt for those plastic seat covers.  Not bad cause it's taken me up to a year and a half to find the pliers on the fencepost where I was fixing the tractor...
   I bought clear plastic covers from J.C. Whitney (even though I'm generally suspicious of some of their stuff).  One bench seat was $76.46, and it was shipped directly from the factory (w/o identification, so you might get a different 'brand' every time). I've had them on the '59 Desoto since October 1999, and they're in very good shape and installed fairly easily, so I'd recommend them highly. I was lucky to have a day with fairly hot sun in October, and left them out to soften for a while.
