I have also heard of the factory "using up" inventory at the end of the
model year.   If this is true, I would suspect that this would lead to a
number of interesting "color combinations" and "extras" being put on the
car.   Another thing to drive the restorers and judges nuts.

Y'all have to remember one thing. there was a day when you could order any
kind of color combo you wanted. One mans dream is another mans nightmare!!
