Ok gang, thanks for some leads. I will be a bit more specific. The plate I want to reproduce is a 1951 California plate. Here in Ca, you need both front and rear plates. There was a company out of Ma. I think that advertised in Hemmings, but I no longer see their ad. I have found single plates that are DMV clear for decent prices, as opposed to the $$ for pairs ( WOW) !
