Mike, yes -- your article is wonderful. If you haven't read it yet, it's at
http://www.imperialclub.org/Articles/Exner/Jr/index.htm

I was surprised to find out that my 1986 Mercury Grand Marquis is an Exner
(Jr.) design that first appeared in 1979! Even now, 25 years after that car
was first produced, I still get a steady stream of complements about how
stately and elegant that car is. (As well as being wonderful mechanically,
and with my addition of the Police Handling package, one heck of a
performer).

I've invited Mr. Exner to join the mailing list as well, but I'm not sure
how often he really gets online to check email. If he decides to join for a
while, I'll certainly let you all know.

He was old enough at the time to actually help Ex. Sr. work on the designs
for our cars, and has a wealth of information about their history. I'm
certainly looking forward to spending some time with him at Carlisle if he
is able to attend.

That sounds AWESOME, Dave. If you can get Ex, Jr. to come to Chrysler at
Carlisle, it really does promise to be the best meet ever!

I can't believe it's already been 2 years, but here's a link to the
transcript of a conversation I had with him:
